ABOUT MAIMS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The idea of alumni association was conceived to foster a relationship between students and Alumni that bridges the college life as well professional work life. Thereby looking forward to a proactive step so that students are trained and adept to face the challenges of the competitive professional world. Both the ends shall work hand in hand to help each other in achieving these goals. The idea took shape and transpired in the form of MAIMS Alumni Association. MAIMS Alumni Association was constituted though Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Association (MAIMS) Alumni Association was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with registration number S/3662/SDM/NM/ 2021 on 5th January 2021.
The MAIMS Alumni Association provides a forum for interaction between the alumni as well as present students and faculty members. It aims to achieve a high degree of belongingness with the college and society. Members of the association have tried to establish a feeling of friendship and brotherhood through several endeavors such as Alumni Meet, Fresher’s party ‘Inizio’, Faculty engagement activities, presence in guest lectures etc. The Alumni Association organizes various events to develop, coordinate and create a connecting platform between alumni and the institution. The association aims to enhance the level of engagement of alumni in institutional functioning and development. This shall be beneficial in creating various opportunities for the present students in terms of internships, employment opportunities etc. Various events are organized by Alumni Association from time to time to encourage students of the institute and acknowledge efforts and contribution of our alumni.
As per the registered document, the Governing Body members were appointed at various posts comprising of executive members both from alumni and from faculty. The President Mr. Yash Khatri has been an active member and has delivered guest lectures apart from being a key person in organizing all the alumni events. He is an affluent anchor and conducted a specialized team
engagement program for faculty engagement. He organized fun games such as tambola and interesting management games under the banner of team game guru. It was a very appreciable effort to rejuvenate and brought smiles to all faculty members. Mr. Sanjeev Garg (Vice-President), Mr. Sourish Arora (Vice-President), Mr. Tushar Gupta (Secretary) and Mr. Rajat Gupta (Member) have always been active in fostering pleasant contact amongst their alma-mater and the team of alumni association. Amongst faculty members Ms. Sarita Garg is Joint President, Ms. Shilpee Aggarwal – General Secretary, Dr. Varuna Kharbanda – Treasurer along with other executive members helps alumni students in organizing key events at the institute.
Some of the alumni are proactive in providing placements and internships to their alma mater students as well as guidance for recruitment in the form of guest lectures, seminars, webinars etc. They also contribute in sponsoring events at the institute and work hard towards the development, welfare and all-round improvement of the institute. All the governing body members have been active in organizing various events in the institute.
The Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) Alumni Association was established in 2008 and was registered on January 5th, 2021 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide Registration No. S/3662/SDM/NW/2021.
The Association connects graduates with their alma mater, fostering a sense of community service and supporting Institution’s development. It plays a vital role in success of Institution by providing financial and other forms of support.

Financial Support
The most significant contributions that MAIMS Alumni Association makes to Institution is financial support. Alumni donations funds programs that benefits current and future students and enhances their educational experience.
The Association plans to create a scholarship fund to support students from underprivileged backgrounds to cover tuition fee, boarding, and miscellaneous expenses, making it possible for pursuing their academic goals.
Alumni Association have coordinated Alumni events, viz. alumni meet, fresher’s party etc. Additionally, Alumni Association also plans to support Institution’s fundraising efforts as these fundraising campaigns, will assist in encouraging their peers to donate and participate in fundraising activities.
Networking Opportunities
Association provides networking opportunities that benefits both graduates and the Institution. Alumni facilitate connecting with others professionally, forming a valuable network that can foster career development, mentorship, and job opportunities.

Networking is helpful for graduates who are just starting their careers. By connecting with alumni who have established careers in their fields, graduates can gain valuable insights into industry, receive career advice, and potentially secure job opportunities.
Networking opportunities also benefit Institution. By connecting alumni with enrolled students, The Institution has provided valuable mentorship opportunities. Alumni have shared their experiences with students and offered advice on academic and career development. This connection has inspired current students to become more involved with Institution’s Alumni Association, encouraging them to stay connected after graduation.
Other Support Services
Association has provided other valuable support services to Institution beyond financial and networking support. It has sponsored career development workshops and seminars for students as they prepare to enter the workforce.
Additionally, Alumni Association has provided valuable volunteer support. Alumni volunteer their time to mentor students, speak at career events, and help with fundraising campaigns. This volunteer support has helped MAIMS to achieve its goals more efficiently and effectively.
To conclude, Association has contributed significantly towards development of Institution through financial and other support services which has profoundly impacted the success of Institution. Overall, Association has helped the Institution in building a community of dedicated and supportive graduates who are committed to its success.
